Fast Weight Loss Diet
A Fast Weight Loss Diet is just a
low-sugar, low-fat, low-carbohydrate eating plan which ensures
your body will burn up more calories than the diet lets you
eat.
It sounds so simple, and it is simple... at least in theory.
Because you don't want a diet that makes you go hungry. If
you're feeling hungry, you're probably going to “bust” and go
and eat something that's not allowed. And once you do that, you
have broken your weight loss program, so now you have to start
the diet all over again.
Also, when you bust a weight loss program and then go on a
food binge, your body takes in more calories than it had before
you went on the diet. So you're really behind the eight-ball
now. You've put on weight instead of taking it off. Worse than
when you started.
You feel ashamed and disheartened. And next thing you know
you can be back in the food, eating all the sweet fatty foods
that we know are forbidden. And this time it's to comfort
yourself. Or was that the last time as well?
It's crazy isn't it. Thousands and thousands of people get
stuck in this vicious circle. And many end up eating themselves
to death through obesity and its many associated diseases
including Type Two Diabetes.
Some people call it overeating, others call it food
addiction. There are differences between the two labels but
they aren't helpful here. Forget the labels. The problem is we
don't get enough exercise to deal with the energy (calories) in
the food we eat. And we like eating it, yes? Our bodies convert
the calories to sugar. That goes through the blood and it's
either burned up through exercise or it gets stored away as
more fat.
A good fast weight loss diet should cut out all sugar and
flour because these trigger overeating. We actually have to
detox from the added sugar we eat unthinkingly every day. Then
the weight loss program needs to include some moderate exercise
every day, and a weight-loss diet that is low in carbohydrates
and high in uncooked salads, cooked vegetables and a little
fruit. (Fruit has to be limited because it is naturally
sweet.)
Protein in this fast weight loss diet needs to be strictly
weighed and measured. We know too much read meat is not good
for you, so red meats should be strictly reduced or even cut
out altogether. (Do you want to save the beef industry or save
your own life? That's why there are weight loss programs...
They save people from killing themselves with food.)
Two eggs or four ounces of fish or chicken are enough
protein for a woman, a man is allowed just a little more...
three medium eggs or 6 ounces of meat or fish. No potatoes or
rice or pasta at this stage. Lunch and dinner should be two
cups of raw vegetable salad plus one serve of protein. Or one
cup of salad plus one cup of cooked vegetables, and a measured
serve of protein.
Breakfast can be one piece of fruit (no bananas), two eggs
and one cup of oatmeal or other cooked grain. No added milk or
sugar, and no caffeine. You can drink decaf tea or herbal tea,
or stick with water. Soda pop (soft drinks) are not allowed,
not even the ones that are sugar-free.
Stick with this weight loss program, do it for 30 days
without “busting” and I promise you will lose weight. It's the
best fast weight loss diet I know of. And yes, I have
successfully done it myself.
I saw a movie on cable recently. At the very end of the
movie, one of the characters comments that half the world is
dying because they don't have enough food to eat. The other
half of the world is dying of obesity because they have too
much food available to them. If you are reading this, you also
have the option of eating sensibly. You are very lucky.
